Who we are

We are an HVAC and Plumbing Apprenticeship Program that has adapted to remote learning as our footprint grows. Our main classroom is in Shreveport, Louisiana, but our students are up to four hours away. While lab days are still the backbone of mechanical trade schooling, we want to make every class more interesting and tangible for the students.

This venture has been in the works for a few years, as we kept running into consistently misunderstood ideas like the Screw Compressor Slide Valve function. Scrapped Screw Compressors don’t grow on trees, and they are extremely difficult to section cut if you do get your hands on one. Tabletop Mechanical is our attempt to bridge that gap and get models of difficult concepts in the hands of those who need to explain them.

All proceeds are going directly back into improving our Apprenticeship program and potentially adding resources to expand our model offerings and capacity.
